Assistant Director Report:
County report-Secretary resignation announced. Melanie Vincent to move to Committee of Bike Nite Coordinator. Melanie is joined by Bill Landry. Both open to help & suggestion, as the “go to” persons.
Introduction of responsibilities for Secretary, Treasurer & Area Rep., handouts given to those of interest.
Newsletter-deadline Dec 5th, open to anyone to submit an article. All encouraged to participate. Suggestion of writing a “letter to the editor”.
Kent (state printer) needs contact person/# per event. Changing contact # on poster for Bike Nite to Bill’s info.
Treasurer Report:
Account balance $XXXX.XX. Bike Nite payout for 11/7/08 $XXX.XX. No other activity.
Old Business:
Bike Nite-Motion to use toy run money (gift card $40) for Warden’s toy drive. Along with toy run money, we will contribute $60 from the December Bike Night profits (if any). 2nded. Passed unanimous. Wish list at Warden’s or contact Melanie for info.
T-shirt & flag-Josh needs suggestions! Deadline for flag ideas will be Jan. 25th meeting. Will discuss t-shirt deadline at Jan. meeting.
Reminder that Wreaths Across America event Dec. 7th. Ceremony from 5:30-6:15pm in Lewiston. Wreaths are $15/each, to be placed at Arlington Cemetery.
Website- 400-500 hits/mth.
Business cards- Tamaya has updated them for anyone that needs some.

MMPAC Report- 4 Androscoggin members attended 11.16 meeting.
*PAC is only political organization in ME. registered with the Ethics committee.
*Of 98,000 motorcycle endorsements in Me., only 46,000 registered bikes, and only 3,000 U.B.M members
****Helmet Bill & non triggering traffic lights on the table for discussion****
Motto of “let those who ride decide” is overused. Need to promote more “Education not Legislation”. ME is 1 of 5 states that requires education to obtain an endorsement.

What can we do about Helmet bill?...GET MORE MEMBERS!! Our strength is in our numbers!

Area Rep-Fred Lapoint resignation, 1 position open. Russ Hart and Wachian Welch, nominated and 2nded. Discussion, motion to table vote till Dec. meeting w/secret ballot. 2nded. Passed.
Secretary- position open. Sue Chamness nominated and 2nded. Passed.
Reminders: Sept is the only Full E-board meeting (all members have a vote). Always be mindful of “unforeseen circumstances” before speaking, acting and typing.
Old Member Files-Distribution of “inactive” members list,1 page to each Area Rep in attendance for service.

Little Dan’s- closing on Sundays. Next meeting at Rack-M-Up? 1st choice confirmed. (American Legion was 2nd choice & Fast Breaks was 3rd choice.
Bike Nite- January, will be 2nd Friday (Jan 9th) due to the New Year holiday. Menu is Chili, Chowder or Stew “Cookoff”. Prizes for the best! Contact Melanie or Bill with any questions.
